Thank You, Rain

A family walk in the rain helps a young girl gain perspective and appreciate nature in all its forms.

Watching rain dance down her window, a child is feeling cooped up and gloomy because she can't go outside. Then her dad comes home and insists that they go on their evening walk, rain or no rain. Together Dad, the girl, and her little brother take the time to watch the rain as it dances. And they dance too. When the rain becomes a downpour, they find shelter under a tree, where they take the time to listen to the rain as it drums out a rhythm. They drum too. When it's time to go home, the girl no longer feels sad about the rain.
